Salary: Grade 5 £25,989 - £28,142 pro rata term time only
Contract: Permanent 35 hours a week, term time only – hours to be discussed.
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Technician to support our Food Technology and Art departments. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and creative school environment, working closely with staff and students to enhance learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support teaching and learning in Food Technology and Art lessons
• Prepare, set up, and maintain equipment, materials, and resources
• Assist students individually or in small groups under teacher direction
• Ensure a safe and hygienic working environment, particularly in food preparation areas
• Help manage stock, order supplies, and maintain inventory
• Provide technical support to teaching staff during practical lessons

The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Have experience working in a school or similar environment (desirable)
• Be organised, proactive, and able to manage time effectively
• Have an interest or background in Food Technology, Art, or both
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
