Salary: Grade 7, SCP 19-25
Contract: 15 Hours a week Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2026

At Fisher More RC High School, our Catholic faith is at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Lay Chaplain to join our dedicated team and play a key role in nurturing the spiritual life of our school community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for working with young people and supporting them on their faith journey. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher, staff, governors and local parish to promote the Catholic ethos of the school and
provide pastoral and spiritual support to pupils, staff and families.

The successful candidate will:
• Be a practising Catholic with a strong personal faith and commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
• Inspire and encourage young people to explore and develop their faith.
• Lead and support prayer, liturgy, retreats and other opportunities for spiritual development.
• Provide compassionate pastoral support to pupils, staff and families.
• Build positive relationships with the local parish and wider community.
• Be an approachable, caring and visible presence throughout the school.
