We are delighted to share key findings from the recent Ofsted monitoring inspection, which highlight the significant progress our school has made under the leadership of our new headteacher and senior leadership team. These improvements demonstrate our commitment to providing a supportive and high-quality educational environment.
Sustained Improvement: The report acknowledges that actions taken to enhance the school are “measured and considered,” ensuring changes are “embedded and sustainable.”
Staff Morale and Engagement: Staff feel more supported in managing behavior and teaching, with increased confidence in the school’s commitment to listening and acting on their concerns. This has boosted morale significantly.
Curriculum and Assessment: Enhanced systems and external audits have strengthened the delivery of our curriculum. Teachers are increasingly effective in using assessments to identify and address gaps in learning.
Support for SEND Pupils: Decisive steps have been taken to improve support for pupils with special educational needs, helping them better access the curriculum.
Reading Focus: The school’s strong emphasis on reading is having a “positive impact,” with most pupils gaining confidence and fluency.
Behavior Improvements: Revised policies and strengthened staffing structures have led to better pupil behavior and a reduction in suspensions.
